A group of rescuers in China heard about a few abandoned puppies near an apartment building. They have been getting a few of these reports lately. The rescuers immediately responded to the call and went to the said site. When the local rescuers got there, they saw two men hovering over the box. They were keeping an eye on the puppies until the rescuers got there. The rescuers saw that there were eight puppies inside the box. They also saw a text on the box that says, “please adopt.”It was a heartbreaking thing to see, especially since the puppies were too young. At their age, they are supposed to be nursing from their mother. The two men explained that the area was recently transformed into apartment buildings. Since then, there has been an increase in abandoned dogs in the area. That could explain why they are getting a lot of reports lately. The rescuers thanked the men and brought the puppies with them. The rescuers came up with an idea. They want to see if they can interest someone in adopting the puppies. They brought the puppies in front of a convenience store. They wanted passersby to see the puppies. There were a few onlookers. There was even one woman who seemed very interested in adopting one. Unfortunately, she ended up not taking any.Other customers from the convenience store took videos and photos of the puppies. The concerned passersby wanted to post it on social media and find potential adopters. This was their way of helping out the dogs. The rescuers did not find any potential adopters that afternoon. Since it was getting cold, the little canines needed to be taken to a warmer place. The rescuers brought the puppies home where they were bottle-fed and well taken care of. The puppies will find their home one day, for now, they’re in good hands.Source Northeast Animal Rescue, China via YouTube
So you want to know more about me, eh? Well, I am a Canadian, husband, and father of two young men.
I would say boys but they are not really “boys” anymore. They are 19 and 17. But they will always be my little ones. :-)
And, of course, we also have a dog. He is an Affenpinscher. Also affectionately known as a Monkey Dog.
His name is Monty. Yes, it is after Monty Python as he is a funny, crazy character.
Dogs have always been a part of my life. My parents started and owned a Dog and Cat boarding kennel just 20 minutes north of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia.
I started this website as a way to give back to the dog community. Which is full of many extraordinary dogs and owners doing many different and exciting things.
I hope you come back often to enjoy the wondrous stories I find.
Thank You for your time and interest.
