A newlywed’s first dance is reserved for the bride and groom alone. It symbolizes their love for one another and the harmony that binds them. However, this particular couple shared their first dance with a third party.A couple of weeks ago in Washington, Nicole and Seth Funden got united in marriage in front of their loved ones. But the big day wasn’t theirs alone. Besides having family and friends to witness that special occasion, the couple’s beloved dog, Eva, was also there. And to everyone’s surprise, Eva decided to be more than just a mere witness in her parents’ nuptials.Everyone present in the ceremony expected to see Eva on that occasion. They knew that she was more than a pet to Nicole and Seth. For the couple, their dog is a cherished family member. But nobody expected that Eva would demonstrate that she plays a part in the union that was formed during that day.During the couple’s first dance, Eva unexpectedly decided to accompany her parents. The lovely dog stood on her hind legs and joined the newlyweds’ as her mom and dad held her paws and danced with her. It’s one of the sweetest things anyone could ever witness. Surely, no one expected it would happen. But guests were teary-eyed when it did. Without a doubt, Nicole, Seth, and Eva are family. It was such an unforgettable day for Nicole and Seth. They shared the love that they have for one another with their families and friends. But more than that, Eva also proved the love that she has for her parents. It may be a little dance for many, but for the pup and the newlyweds, it’s the beginning of the endless love that they are going to share for the rest of their lives. Indeed, it’s priceless having a dog in our lives.Credits to Selena Mercedes via Fox 29
So you want to know more about me, eh? Well, I am a Canadian, husband, and father of two young men.
I would say boys but they are not really “boys” anymore. They are 19 and 17. But they will always be my little ones. :-)
And, of course, we also have a dog. He is an Affenpinscher. Also affectionately known as a Monkey Dog.
His name is Monty. Yes, it is after Monty Python as he is a funny, crazy character.
Dogs have always been a part of my life. My parents started and owned a Dog and Cat boarding kennel just 20 minutes north of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia.
I started this website as a way to give back to the dog community. Which is full of many extraordinary dogs and owners doing many different and exciting things.
I hope you come back often to enjoy the wondrous stories I find.
Thank You for your time and interest.
