An Adorable Australian Shepherd Went Sledding All By Herself

Australian Shepherds, often called Aussies, are medium-sized dogs with the energy of a bull. They were used as working dogs because of their strong stamina and intelligence. This explains their need for a great deal of physical and mental stimulation.

Aussies are also easy-going and love adventures. They love to participate in human activities, especially the fun ones. An Australian Shepherd shows just how much they love fun-filled activities.

Secret is a 5-year-old Aussie with a lot of tricks up her sleeves. She paints and plays Jenga. She has also learned that baths are good for her. This is all thanks to her pet mom, Mary, who trained her so well.

Both Secret and Mary love each other so much. They are fond of doing almost everything together. In fact, they are even yoga partners.

This intelligent Aussie has always had a thirst for learning. She enjoys discovering new things and loves going on adventures. In fact, Secret takes pleasure in sledding. It has become her favorite pastime.

In one of their activities together, Secret decided to carry a sled using her mouth up the hill. She was so eager while adorably climbing the snowy high ground.

When she is finally on the hilltop, she puts the sled down and happily gets on it. She pushed forward and slid down she went! Her balancing skill was also on point!

When her sled finally stops, she picks it up again and rushes back to the top of the hill. And she does it all over again with happiness in her heart.

All the while, Mary is able to record the sneaky dog happily sledding alone. Though Mary was confident that Secret is safe, this surely amazed how well her dog can sled down a hill.

Mary uploaded the video on her Instagram account. It instantly caught people’s attention and quickly went viral. The video was viewed thousands of times.

This indeed made people want to experience the thrill Secret was able to experience. It only shows that even dogs can use a little spirit of adventure once in a while.

So you want to know more about me, eh? Well, I am a Canadian, husband, and father of two young men. I would say boys but they are not really “boys” anymore. They are 19 and 17. But they will always be my little ones. :-) And, of course, we also have a dog. He is an Affenpinscher. Also affectionately known as a Monkey Dog. His name is Monty. Yes, it is after Monty Python as he is a funny, crazy character. Dogs have always been a part of my life. My parents started and owned a Dog and Cat boarding kennel just 20 minutes north of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia. I started this website as a way to give back to the dog community. Which is full of many extraordinary dogs and owners doing many different and exciting things. I hope you come back often to enjoy the wondrous stories I find. Thank You for your time and interest. Larry
