Elliott Ford was out one day when he saw a dog on the streets. From the looks of the canine, Elliott knew that he was homeless. Elliott did not want to leave him alone, so he brought the dog with him.

Elliot grew up in the country, but he never owned a dog before. He had no idea what life would be like with one.

When he bonded with the dog that he named Snoop, he knew that it was about time he gets his own canine. That’s when Elliott decided to adopt Snoop.

He was amazed by how deep both of them have connected. Who wouldn’t connect when Snoop keeps following Elliott everywhere he goes?

Snoop would even follow him to the toilet. Wherever Elliott goes, Snoop follows.

That’s just one of the things that Snoop does that makes Elliott fonder of him. Another thing that makes Snoop stand out is how he loves picking up sticks with his mouth.

When this hobby of his started, he started with a very small twig. Elliott noticed that every year, the stick that Snoop picks up gets bigger and bigger.

Eventually, Snoop does not pick up sticks anymore. Instead, he picks branches of trees.

Everything that Snoop does put a smile on Elliott’s face. Elliott knows how Snoop exerts effort to make him happy.

He understands that it’s Snoop’s way of expressing his gratefulness. Snoop is thankful that Elliott took him home the day they met.

Snoop’s life has been very different since that day. Because of Elliott, Snoop has experienced what it’s like to have an amazing father and family.

Bringing Snoop home has also changed Elliott’s life. It has become more colorful.

Elliott never knew that having a dog was going to be so fun. He would not trade Snopp for anything in the world.

So you want to know more about me, eh? Well, I am a Canadian, husband, and father of two young men. I would say boys but they are not really “boys” anymore. They are 19 and 17. But they will always be my little ones. :-) And, of course, we also have a dog. He is an Affenpinscher. Also affectionately known as a Monkey Dog. His name is Monty. Yes, it is after Monty Python as he is a funny, crazy character. Dogs have always been a part of my life. My parents started and owned a Dog and Cat boarding kennel just 20 minutes north of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia. I started this website as a way to give back to the dog community. Which is full of many extraordinary dogs and owners doing many different and exciting things. I hope you come back often to enjoy the wondrous stories I find. Thank You for your time and interest. Larry
