These Hounds Write A Letter Of Apology After Having Stolen A Mail Carrier’s Lunch

Behind every dog’s adorable appearance is its talent for trouble. And these pooches you’ll meet are living proofs to this claim!

The siblings Blue and Bear were adopted when they were still puppies. And since their entry to the household of Carol Jordan, everything seemed to be much livelier, and that’s because they always get themselves in a mess. Luckily they have Carol as their mom who’s always managed to save them.

The most recent case she handled was that of a mail carrier who had her lunch stolen by the pups!

In a note that the USPS employee left for the family, she narrates what had happened on the day. She says that while she was out from her truck to deliver a package, the two had gone sneakily into it and ate her meal!

To the pooches’ relief, the woman did not seem to be asking compensation but merely to inform Carol about what they had consumed. The lady appeared to be rather worried that her lunch composed of eggs, carrots, and pumpkin seeds, would upset their stomach.

Despite this, Carol still felt sorry for her and decided that it would only be right to hold Blue and Bear accountable!

Carol then ordered them to write a letter in response. She also got a Subway gift as reimbursement for the meal taken. And when everything was done and ready, the three of them went to the post office to get their sorry to the carrier.

Carol posted this in Facebook, and it became a hit! Well, perhaps because people just couldn’t bear but feel proud of the two. While they may have done something terrible, Blue and Bear bravely acknowledged their mistake and apologized, which is commendable!

We hope that the letter finally reaches the mail carrier, and may this be a lesson to all to always guard their food, especially when dogs are around!

They may be good creatures, but when it comes to food, some of them are just powerless!

So you want to know more about me, eh? Well, I am a Canadian, husband, and father of two young men. I would say boys but they are not really “boys” anymore. They are 19 and 17. But they will always be my little ones. :-) And, of course, we also have a dog. He is an Affenpinscher. Also affectionately known as a Monkey Dog. His name is Monty. Yes, it is after Monty Python as he is a funny, crazy character. Dogs have always been a part of my life. My parents started and owned a Dog and Cat boarding kennel just 20 minutes north of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia. I started this website as a way to give back to the dog community. Which is full of many extraordinary dogs and owners doing many different and exciting things. I hope you come back often to enjoy the wondrous stories I find. Thank You for your time and interest. Larry
