The dog in this story is named Mosley. The first time that you would see Mosley, you would know that he is different. This is because this dog has a face that is crooked and he also has a crooked smile. The people who rescued Mosley think that this unique feature is adorable. But not all people think so. That is why Mosley has been having a hard time finding a person or a family who would adopt him. While other dogs are getting adopted, Mosley is left behind in the shelter.Amanda Harris is the marketing programs manager for the Atlanta Humane Society. One day, Amanda saw Mosley’s photo while surfing the internet. She knew that this dog was a special one so she went to the shelter to take the dog and find a family for it.Amanda thinks that it was the crooked smile that Mosley has that took her heart. She also thought that Mosley’s unique feature would be the key to having a family love him. Amanda is also wondering what made Mosley look this way and she thinks that it may be a defect he had at birth.Amanda posted the dog’s photo and story on the Atlanta Humane Society’s social media page. After doing that, they started to receive a lot of inquiries about how they could adopt the dog. Amanda’s plan worked! People are interested in Mosley. In the end, it was Lindsey Ramsey and her family who were awarded the chance to adopt Mosley. The shelter believed that Lindsey would be the best option for Mosley and that Mosley would be loved and taken care of well there. They seem to be a good fit. Now, Mosley is always following his family around. He is also very energetic. Mosley also loves snuggling and getting rubs from his family.Source: Lindsey-andAnson Ramsey
So you want to know more about me, eh? Well, I am a Canadian, husband, and father of two young men.
I would say boys but they are not really “boys” anymore. They are 19 and 17. But they will always be my little ones. :-)
And, of course, we also have a dog. He is an Affenpinscher. Also affectionately known as a Monkey Dog.
His name is Monty. Yes, it is after Monty Python as he is a funny, crazy character.
Dogs have always been a part of my life. My parents started and owned a Dog and Cat boarding kennel just 20 minutes north of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia.
I started this website as a way to give back to the dog community. Which is full of many extraordinary dogs and owners doing many different and exciting things.
I hope you come back often to enjoy the wondrous stories I find.
Thank You for your time and interest.
