This Non-Alcoholic Beer Is A Healthy Drink For Your Pooch

What are the things that best friends do? Exercise together, eat out together, have some beers together and then you can take them out on walks. Yes, we’re talking about dogs, not human best friends, and yes they can drink beer. Of course, not the type of beer that you and I drink. We’re talking about a beer that was created especially for them; it’s called Bowser Beer.

This is a non-alcoholic and non-carbonated beer that is safe for your dog to drink. Actually, it’s a very healthy drink. It’s made out of real meat, malted barley, and glucosamine. So it has the elements that make up for a healthy snack if you think about it. Also, it’s not fattening, so you don’t have to worry about your pup getting a beer belly.

Jenny Brown invented Bowser Beer as an after-effect of Bowser Bits; a pretzel snack specifically made for dogs. Brown was thinking, that pretzels are the perfect drinking food, especially if you’re drinking beer, so why not make a beer for dogs? She tried it out with her own dogs first, and her new product passed with flying colors.

Brown suggested that the beer is as good as a dog snack, so it can also be served as food. She suggested that aside from letting your pooch drink it straight out of a bowl, you could freeze them and make beer popsicles. You know how dogs like munching on ice, so this would perfect for them. If you’re feeling a little crafty, you can use Bowser Beer to make doggie ice cream, too.

It can also be mixed in with the kibble that you feed your dog to add more flavor to their food. Speaking of flavor, the beer comes in three different flavors: pork, chicken, and beef. Dogs already love the taste of this genius creation, and on top of that, they won’t ever get tired of it because it has variations. Try a pack, and your pup will surely love it.

So you want to know more about me, eh? Well, I am a Canadian, husband, and father of two young men. I would say boys but they are not really “boys” anymore. They are 19 and 17. But they will always be my little ones. :-) And, of course, we also have a dog. He is an Affenpinscher. Also affectionately known as a Monkey Dog. His name is Monty. Yes, it is after Monty Python as he is a funny, crazy character. Dogs have always been a part of my life. My parents started and owned a Dog and Cat boarding kennel just 20 minutes north of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia. I started this website as a way to give back to the dog community. Which is full of many extraordinary dogs and owners doing many different and exciting things. I hope you come back often to enjoy the wondrous stories I find. Thank You for your time and interest. Larry
